These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CallBoard website and services. By using our website or joining our waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

Acceptable Use
You May
- Use our website to learn about CallBoard

- Spam or abuse our communication channels

User Accounts and Waitlist
Waitlist Registration
When you join our waitlist, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information
- Maintain the security of your information
- Notify us of any changes to your contact details
- Use CallBoard in accordance with these terms when it launches
Account Creation (Future)
When CallBoard launches, you'll need to create an account. You'll be responsible for:
- Choosing a secure password
- Keeping your login information confidential
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access
SMS Communications and Opt-In Process
How SMS Consent Works
During signup, you choose how to verify your account. SMS notifications are optional, and you maintain complete control.
Signup Flow
- User receives an invitation link and clicks to join CallBoard
- User chooses their verification method: Text Message (SMS) or Email
- If Email is chosen: User enters email address, receives verification code, and creates account. No SMS consent required.
- If Text Message (SMS) is chosen:
- User enters phone number
- SMS consent disclosure appears, explaining message types, frequency, and opt-out process
- User sees an unchecked checkbox with the text: "I agree to receive SMS notifications from CallBoard as described above"
- User must actively check this box to provide consent
- User submits the form and receives a verification code via SMS
Important: Consent is not required to use CallBoard. If you choose email verification, you can still use all CallBoard features without providing a phone number or SMS consent.

SMS Message Types
Users who opt in to SMS will receive the following types of text messages:
- Two-factor authentication codes for secure login
- Work call offers and availability requests
- Schedule confirmations and updates
- Critical work-related notifications and alerts
- Schedule changes or emergency updates
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out Process
Users can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:
- Replying with any of these keywords: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT
- Updating their notification preferences in their CallBoard account settings
- Contacting support at hello@callboard.app
When you opt out, you'll receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

Service Availability
Current Status
CallBoard is currently in development. We provide information and waitlist services but make no guarantees about:
- Launch dates or timelines
- Specific features or functionality
- Service availability or uptime
Beta and Testing
We may invite waitlist members to beta test CallBoard. Beta services are provided "as is" and may have bugs, limited functionality, or downtime.
Payments and Pricing
Joining our waitlist is free. When CallBoard launches:
- We'll clearly communicate any pricing
- You'll have the choice to use paid features or not
- We may offer free tiers or trial periods
- Pricing may change with advance notice
Disclaimers and Limitations
Service "As Is"
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
